Amanda Traub is a manager for the Litigation Support practice at Applied Marketing Science (AMS).
As a manager, Amanda is involved with all aspects of litigation projects, including exploratory research, survey design, survey fielding, data analysis, and report development. Amanda has worked for the Litigation Support practice on cases related to trademark and patent infringement, dilution, deceptive advertising, class certification, and claim substantiation.
Amanda interned for Applied Marketing Science for two years prior to joining as full time analyst. In this role, she provided support for both the insights for innovation practice and the litigation support practice. Additionally, she conducted and presented her own Voice of the Customer project and developed an internal litigation support database.
Amanda graduated Connecticut College Magna Cum Laude with Honors and Distinction in Psychology. She was inducted into the national academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa, and she was awarded both the Psychology Department Prize and the Cameron Horner Smyser ’92 Award for Scholarly Achievement. At Connecticut College, Amanda completed an honors thesis on Behavioral Economics, that explored psychological perspective taking and irrational decision making in the market place. Amanda also served as the Co-Captain for the Connecticut College Dance Team for three years and led her team to three consecutive first place titles.
Amanda is from Needham, MA and has three sisters (counting her dog). Since retiring from her dancing career, she’s become dedicated to taking Yoga and Zumba classes. Amanda loves the television show “Friends” and relates most to the character Monica. She loves the beach and the sun, but doesn’t think she could ever give up seeing the fall foliage. Amanda supports all Boston sports teams, but her favorite team is the New England Patriots.
Amanda has a B.A. in Psychology, with minors in Applied Statistics, Economics, and Dance.
