Darien Hubert is a manager for the Litigation Support practice at Applied Marketing Science (AMS).
In her role at AMS, Darien is involved with all aspects of litigation projects, including exploratory research, survey design, survey fielding, data analysis, and report development. She has worked for the Litigation Support practice on cases related to trademark and patent infringement, deceptive advertising, market confusion, dilution, and class certification.
Prior to joining AMS, Darien interned at VDC Research, a market research firm specializing in the technology industry. At VDC Research, Darien worked as a Market Research Analyst Intern in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Embedded Technologies department. She assisted in programming and testing surveys for syndicated and custom reports, conducting exploratory research to be used in report development, and analyzing survey data to form actionable insights for the clients. She has also worked as a part-time Administrative Assistant to the CFO of Hubert’s Family Outfitters, a family retail business in New Hampshire.
During her undergraduate studies at Bentley University, Darien worked on a qualitative and quantitative research project aiming to uncover insights about students’ satisfaction levels with the school’s dining hall. Along with her group of three students, she conducted focus groups and programmed a survey that was administered to a group of the student body. She then analyzed the data from both the focus groups and surveys in order to compile a final report that was presented to the class.
Darien is an active member of the Charles River Women’s Rugby Club, a recreational rugby team based out of Boston. Darien started playing rugby in college. In the fall of 2017, her school’s team was ranked second nationally amongst all small colleges and she was individually named to the conference’s All-Circuit Team in the Spring of 2018. Aside from rugby, Darien also enjoys volunteering at the Franklin Park Zoo in Dorchester, MA as a zoo ambassador.
Darien holds a B.S. in marketing from Bentley University, graduating Cum Laude, as well as a Master’s of Science in Marketing Analytics also from Bentley University.
