Kristen Ashley is a Survey Development Manager for the Insights for Innovation and Litigation Support practices at Applied Marketing Science (AMS).
In her role at AMS, Kristen consults on survey design elements, and is responsible for programming and testing of all aspects of complex online surveys.
Kristen was first with AMS from 2003-2008 and rejoined the firm in 2019. In her over 15 years of experience in market research, Kristen has experience working in a wide variety of industries including technology, financial services, medical, and many others. She has expansive experience in research including project management, in-depth interviewing, focus groups, ethnography, study design, data analytics, and reporting. In addition to her market research experience at AMS, Kristen worked in Customer Insights at Constant Contact, the market leader for SAS email marketing to small business and non-profits, and National Quality Review, a financial services consulting firm.
In her six years at Constant Contact Kristen was responsible for end-to-end Voice of the Customer research companywide. Customer insights were identified through longitudinal customer satisfaction surveys, Net Promoter Score (NPS) close-the-loop feedback systems, brand awareness, segmentation, and ad-hoc studies.
Outside of work, Kristen loves spending time with her husband and two kids, photography, and spending time outdoors. Originally from southern New Hampshire, Kristen enjoys watching the Patriots, hiking, camping, surfing, and traveling around New England. She played division II lacrosse for Merrimack College, has gone skydiving twice, hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up again (30 miles over 3 days), and ran the Chicago Marathon in 2007. However, with two young kids, life is now adventurous in different ways.
Kristen holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Merrimack College with a concentration in marketing.
