Sarah Schomp is a field operations manager who works closely with both the Insights for Innovation and Litigation Support teams. Within this position, Sarah collaborates with field agencies to ensure that AMS is supplied with high quality respondents for a wide variety of research projects including web and telephone surveys, mall studies, in-depth interviews, and focus groups. Throughout each project, she negotiates project costs, observes data collection, and provides workable solutions when fieldwork issues arise.
Prior to her work at AMS, Sarah produced strategic marketing and social media plans targeting environmentally and/or socially sustainable clients for Transit Authority Figures, a design studio in Northampton, and ECO Connection (Environmentally Conscientious Orchards Connection), a company she and three other UMass Amherst students created in response to inefficient water use in the California almond industry.
Born and raised in eastern Massachusetts, Sarah enjoys attending live music shows, binging on comedy podcasts, and curling up with a good book.
In 2016 she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing, and a minor in psychology from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where she graduated Cum Laude.
